LPL adds $200m Wisconsin team to hybrid platform

LPL has struck a deal with Third Oak Investment Services, drawing them away from Raymond James.

LPL Financial has added a fourth RIA to its hybrid platform in the new year.

Third Oak Investment Services, the investment division of Baraboo, Wis.-based Baraboo State Bank, has joined the firm’s platform from Raymond James, LPL said on Monday.

The firm oversees a combined $200 million across its RIA and brokerage lines. Third Oak Investment Services has four advisors on staff: Pete Welsh, Lisa McClyman, Laura Stanek and Jennifer Kinzler.

‘We needed a strong partner to help us support our mission,’ Baraboo State Bank chief executive Corey Davis said. ‘Our clients will have an opportunity to access additional services with the resources, tools and integrated platform that LPL Financial provides.’

LPL has added advisory teams from Carbondale, Ill.Charleston, S.C. and south Florida through the first few weeks of 2019. The firm managed around $152.5 billion through its RIA arm as of early January, according to a form ADV filed with the SEC.
