$175m New Jersey team joins LPL Financial

(City Wire) -- CKW Wealth Management has left 1st Global to join LPL Financial's hybrid RIA platform.

CKW's two-person advisor team, which oversees about $175 million in brokerage and advisory assets, are under the broader umbrella of LPL subsidiary Private Advisor Group (PAG).

Financial advisors Natacha Smith and Mike Stieglitz along with a team of CPA partners specialize in wealth management, tax and consulting services. They have offices in Sparta, New Jersey and Chester, New Jersey.

Smith had originally worked at LPL from August 2011 to March 2018, according to her Finra BrokerCheck page. She joined 1st Global in March 2018 and stayed until December 2018.

Her departure from LPL for Stieglitz, however, was short lived. ‘It became apparent to me that we needed to go back to LPL. There’s a human element they provide. When we need answers, we get them from real people, right away.’

She added that LPL has the size and scale necessary to support her team's ability to grow.

‘Natacha’s familiarity with LPL played a role in moving her team back to LPL and PAG so they could have the support their firm needs to not only succeed but to thrive,' Private Advisor Group chief marketing officer Abby Salameh said. 'It is wonderful to have her back as part of the PAG family,’

Morristown, New Jersey-based Private Advisor Group manages $17 billion in advisory assets and serves over 620 financial advisors, as of September 2018, providing them with compliance and supervisory services. It has been the largest hybrid firm on the LPL platform for over five years.

Earlier in January, $360 million Harbor Financial Group left Wells Fargo Advisors to join LPL’s hybrid RIA platform.
