Jessica is the daughter of Terry Pegula, an American businessman and billionaire who has a fortune of 4.3 billion euros through his natural gas and real estate business.
This means Jessica is worth more financially than Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova combined.
However, Jessica's desire is to make her own way and make a name for herself playing tennis, not just being known as Terry Pegulas' daughter.
"When I was younger, I wanted to build a name for myself, but then I realized that I had to accept the family aspect as well. "Tennis is my thing, it's my job, it's my career."
