Dynasty Financial Partners has announced that its affiliate, Dynasty Investment Bank, dedicated to serving clients in the asset and wealth management industry, served as exclusive advisor to Jenkins Wealth, Inc. (“Jenkins”) on its sale to Mariner, a privately-held national financial services firm based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Founded in 2011, Jenkins is a Denver-based registered investment advisor (RIA) with approximately $250 million in assets under management. As a result of the transaction, Jenkins will have access to the additional resources of a national, well-respected brand to scale its operations and drive continued growth and innovation. Jenkins’ headquarters enhances Mariner’s geographic footprint in the Denver, Colorado, metropolitan area. Together, the companies share a focus on client service and will be able to enhance that experience through a comprehensive, flexible offering tailored to clients’ needs. Following the close of the deal, Jenkins will assume the Mariner name and maintain its current location in Denver and its team.
“This transaction provides Mariner with the opportunity to partner with a scalable, sophisticated and entrepreneurial RIA deeply rooted in client service,” said Harris Baltch, Head of Dynasty Investment Bank. “Jenkins’ value proposition is centered around its client-centric model and its ability to provide a tailored solution set for each client. The team is truly dedicated to providing individuals and their families with financial confidence through trust and transparency.”
“We founded our firm with the mission of providing efficient and secure investment strategies to both individual and institutional investors, and our partnership with Mariner will take this pursuit to the next level,” said Brad Jenkins, Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of Jenkins Wealth. “Dynasty’s investment banking team worked closely with us to provide invaluable advice and guidance, making the transaction process as seamless as possible for our team. We are grateful for their help and partnership.”
Serving as sell-side advisor to Jenkins Wealth capped off an active year for Dynasty Investment Bank. The team completed 15 transactions across a range of sell-side, buy-side, recruitment, strategic advisory and capital transactions, representing approximately $15 billion of targeted assets under management.
