First Bank & Trust Company announced that Sally G. Stringer-Scott has been appointed to the Electronic Commerce and Treasury Management team.
Scott has 28 years of banking experience, most recently from Highlands Union Bank where she served as VP and Director of Marketing.
Scott also has a long history of experience in electronic banking, online bill pay and merchant services.
In her role at First Bank & Trust Company, Scott will serve as Business Relationship Officer where she will support Customer Service Representatives, Tellers and Loan Officers by providing expertise in the sales and service of all e-commerce products including Merchant Services, Remote Deposit Capture, Cash Management, Treasury Management products, Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
"Sally has a wealth of knowledge in banking that includes product management, cash management, ACH and wires services as well as relationship development," stated John Rock, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the Southwestern Virginia Region of First Bank & Trust Company. "Her experience will prove to be an essential enhancement to the robust financing options we currently offer."
Scott is a former graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, and a minor in marketing.
She is also a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, Board member for the Washington CountyChamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Washington and 2019 President-Elect of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
