Guy Fieri, Who Just Signed A Reported $100M Deal, Tells Sons They Won’t Inherit His Multi-Million Dollar Fortune Unless They Do This One Thing

(Hollywood Unlocked) - Food Network star Guy Fieri just signed a reported $100 million deal and told his two sons (and nephew) that they will NOT inherit his multi-million dollar fortune unless they do this one thing. #Socialites, can you guess what they are?

While speaking with Fox News, Guy Fieri, aka the Mayor of Flavortown, revealed that he sat his two sons down and told them that he won’t be easily handing over his multi-million dollar fortune once he kicks the bucket.

Fieri said, “I told them the same thing my dad told me. My dad says, ‘When I die, you can expect that I’m going to die broke, and you’re going to be paying for the funeral.’ And I told my boys, ‘None of this that I’ve been building are you gonna get, unless you come and take it from me.'”

According to the restaurateur and TV star, to inherit his large fortune it will require an education. He explained, “So, my nephew Jules is in the music industry, down in L.A. He’s in the law program at Loyola Marymount [University] right now. If you’re going to be a big-time entertainment agent, you need to have that law background. So, he’s doing that.”

Fieri’s oldest son, Hunter, is in the MBA program at the University of Miami and he explained that his youngest son, Ryder, is currently in high school, getting ready to graduate in the Spring. Fieri said after telling his sons the cold, hard truth, Ryder fired back and said, “Dad, this is so unfair. I haven’t even gone to college yet and you’re already pushing that I’ve got to get an MBA. Can I just get through college?”

While quoting a famous professional basketball player, Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal, Fieri explained to his son, “Shaq said it best. Shaq said this about his kids one time. He said, ‘If you want you this cheese, you gotta give me two degrees.'”

Fieri told Fox News, “Well, my two degrees mean post-graduate. So, they’re on their way.”

Now, Fieri’s recent comments about the requirements needing to be fulfilled in order to hand over his million-dollar fortune arrive about a month after he signed a new $100 million multiyear deal with the Food Network. According to Variety, under the agreement, he will continue to produce ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives,’ ‘Guy’s Grocery Games,’ and ‘Tournament of Champions.’
