(BizJournals.com) - A Chicago startup that lets families set up investment accounts for their children has raised new funding from some notable investors.
EarlyBird announced Monday that it raised $4 million in a seed round led by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian's Seven Seven Six. Other investors include Gemini's Frontier Fund, the venture arm of Gemini, a crypto firm owned by Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. Rarebreed Ventures, Fiat Ventures, Network Ventures, NBA Player Thaddeus Young's Reform Ventures, and Alex Lieberman, the co-founder of Morning Brew, also invested.
