Three former TD Ameritrade executives are joining Fusion Capital Management, a technology and turnkey asset management platform, according to ThinkAdvisor.
Execs with Some Heft
Bryce Engels, former chief brokerage office at TD Ameritrade, will become the new CEO of Fusion Capital Management, according to the publication. Asiff Hirji, who at various periods served as TD Ameritrade’s president, chief operating officer and chief investment officer, and Wayne Ferbert, former head of business development at TD Ameritrade, will both sit on Fusion Capital’s advisory board, ThinkAdvisor writes.
All three have also invested in the Dallas-based company, which was founded in 2011 and now serves over 375 financial advisors and 2,500 agents across the country, according to the publication.
In addition to his roles at TD Ameridtrade, Engels has also served as president and COO of Penson Financial Service, ThinkAdvisor writes. Hirji, meanwhile, has served as Hewlett-Packard’s chief restructuring officer and is currently an operating advisor with Andreessen Horowitz, an operating partner with Advent International and a senior advisor with Bain Capital, according to the publication. Ferbert is founder of Alpha DNA Investment Management and a co-founder of Zega Financial, ThinkAdvisor writes.
