FusionIQ Makes Another Big Hire, This Time On The Investment Side

Innovative digital investment platform, FusionIQ, known for its groundbreaking approach to digitizing a dual journey experience for advisors and investors alike, adds to its decades of financial services leadership expertise by naming John Guthery, CFA, to the C-Suite as Chief Investment Officer.

Guthery’s extensive financial services background includes leading market research, due diligence and platform enhancements for top-tier wealth managers, including Park Avenue Securities and Voya Financial, as well as deep alternative investment risk, return and implementation knowledge.

“FusionIQ doing is not only delivering best-in-class technology, but also revolutionizing the way advisors and investors navigate the entire investment experience to align with the expectations that have been evolving for decades by democratizing access to both traditional models and strategies like alternative investments, and giving end users the autonomy to direct their own financial journeys, ” said Guthery.

In his role as Chief Investment Officer, Guthery oversees investment research and due diligence for FusionIQ’s digital supermarket, vetting and continuously monitoring the carefully curated lineup of strategists added to the platform. Guthery also contributes heavily to FusionIQ’s thought leadership and market analysis initiatives.

“Our continued dedication to helping advisors and their clients access best-of-breed managers across every investment strata in a modern, digitized, and cost-effective way demands the deep investment expertise and inspired platform vision John [Guthery] brings to our team,” said Mark Healy, CEO of FusionIQ. “As a tech-driven firm poised to define the future of financial advice, we understand that success begins with a shared vision pervasive across the organization and fully embraced from the top.”

The addition of Guthery as CIO rounds out a trifecta of industry heavy-hitters added to FusionIQ’s executive leadership team just this quarter, with Sebastian Burtone and Jim Cott coming onboard as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.
